Maleny's volunteer-run music festival is back this weekend with one of its biggest programs yet.
The Maleny Music Festival runs at the Maleny Showgrounds from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November. It recently won Festival of the Year in the People's Choice category at the 2026 Queensland Music Awards, and more than 420 acts applied to play.
More than 60 acts will play across five stages and two session tents, with more than 170 concerts, workshops and activities: folk, blues, roots, world music, comedy and community events.
Some of the line-up
- Irish banjo player and singer Maggie Carty

"We will continue to deliver this festival for as long as the local community want it," said festival director Rachel Clarke.
Camping is already sold out, but festival and day passes are still available, and special tickets let visitors join the festivities after 4pm. Tickets and the full program are at malenymusicfestival.com.
