Harrogate's food festival has its date for next summer.

The seventh Harrogate Food and Drink Festival will return to The Stray on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June 2027, organisers announced this week.

More than 80 independent businesses will fill an artisan market, alongside a street food village, independent bars and stalls selling local crafts, small-batch goods and sweet treats.

Four stages

  • Local musicians on the Main Stage
  • Regional chefs joining Steph Moon in the Cookery Theatre
  • The Sizzling Showdown Arena, back after its 2026 debut, with Wally Woof's Family Dog Show, The Chilli Challenge, Foodie Olympics and Pies Down, Eyes Down Bingo
  • The Live Entertainers Stage, hosted by Matthew J Magic, with six shows a day plus circus workshops

A mobile farm, a traditional funfair and a site-wide scavenger hunt are also returning, with more attractions to be announced.

"Attendee feedback plays an important part in that process, and we're using it to help shape our plans for 2027," said festival director Michael Johnston.

Organisers are inviting independent businesses to apply to trade. Harrogate Mind returns as the main charity partner; organisers say the festival and its sister events have raised £210,000 for mental health causes.

Limited early bird tickets are on sale now.
