York turns into a screen and media hub for five days this week.

The programme includes more than 300 short-film screenings across venues in York, covering animation, comedy, drama, documentary, thriller and experimental work. Seating is first come, first served.
Alongside the films there are masterclasses with speakers from BBC Film, Ridley Scott Associates, Channel 5 and ITV, a Games Lab with over 40 games, a Podcasting Lounge, a New Music Stage, networking sessions and social events.
