Croydon's festival of new theatre is back for its 12th year, with organisers calling it their most ambitious programme to date.
Croydonites Festival of New Theatre runs from Wednesday 4 to Saturday 21 November 2026 at The Front Room, Croydon. It brings award-winning Edinburgh hits, theatre, comedy, new writing and film together with local talent, following the Croydonites Fringe Festival in July.
The festival opened with Hannah Maxwell's Fringe First award-winning Turn Your F*cking Phones Off, about human connection in the information age.
Still to come
- Man or Bear, inspired by the viral question, about female survival
- Victoria Melody's show about food poverty, Trouble Struggle Bubble and Squeak (Friday 6 November)
- James Rowland with Fringe hit Team Viking
- Comedy nights on Saturday 7 and Saturday 21 November
- Showcases from the Croydonites commissioning pathways, which help local creatives develop ideas from the earliest stage
The line-up may be subject to change.
